Der Jazzit ist ein Jazzclub und Kultur­venue, seit Februar 2002 in der Elisabethstraße 11 angesiedelt, im Keller des ehemaligen Volksheims der KPÖ.
Sein Programm reicht weit über klassischen Jazz hinaus – von Avantgarde, Improvisation, elektronischer Musik bis hin zu Worldmusic und Klezmer.
Die Dienstag‑Sessions sind eine beliebte Institution (oft mit freiem Eintritt), ebenso wie das DJ‑Line‑Event am Mittwoch („Homebase“).
Das Venue produziert eine eigene CD‑Reihe und ist Teil des Dachverbands Salzburger Kulturstätten.
Der Club wurde 2006 mit dem Salzburger Landeskulturpreis ausgezeichnet.
