Beschreibung: Hošek Contemporary ist eine Galerie, Performance‑Space und Künstlerresidenz auf dem historischen Flussschiff MS Heimatland, das seit 2018 fest auf der Fischerinsel in Berlin‑Mitte verankert ist. Fokus liegt auf performativen Künsten, experimenteller Musik, Installationen und Tanz.

Gründung & Geschichte: Gegründet 2016 von Petr Hošek; ursprünglich als klassischer White‑Cube‑Raum an verschiedenen Standorten, bis 2018 die jetzige Lage auf dem Schiff übernommen wurde.

Seit 2021 wird der „Hošek Contemporary Prize“ verliehen; parallel existiert ein Residenzprogramm, das auch Wohnen auf dem Schiff ermöglicht.
