We will delve as deeply as possible so that in practice we can lean not only on the body of another\, but mainly on our own and feel\, perceive and let our spontaneous\, free flow of movement flow.\nThe workshop will always include:\n– individual somatic work (focused on perceiving your body and experiencing deeper principles)\n– floorwork (working with the ground)\n– work on individual principles of contact improvisation\n– awareness of the principles for entering jams\n– free jam\, where there will be an opportunity to try everything out in practice.\nEach workshop will be facilitated by two lecturers (Kateřina Hanzlíková and Michaela Ondrašinová)\, so individual care will be ensured 🙂\nThe workshops will be designed so that both those who are just starting out with contact improvisation and experienced dancers can get the most out of them. The individual workshops will follow each other\, so we recommend taking all of the workshops. DESCRIPTION:Christian Reiner\nNicholas Hoffman & Laura Pudelek\n\nChristian Reiner spricht Pier Paolo Pasolini\nDer italienische Dichter\, Essayist und Filmemacher Pier Paolo Pasolini war stets unabhängiger und schonungsloser Chronist seiner Zeit. In den vorliegenden Texten prangert er unermüdlich soziale Missstände in seinem Land an; aber auch sein katholischer Glaube und die Frage nach der Kunst des Dichtens ziehen sich wie Stränge durch sein Werk. „Er wollte das Fest des Lebens feiern\, die Blume der Passion\, die Blume des Spiels\, und zuletzt\, als äußerste Aktion\, die Blume des Todes\, seines Todes.“ schreibt Wolf Wondratschek in seinem Begleittext zur CD „Land der Arbeit“. Bei diesem Unterfangen sei es um die Frage gegangen\, „wie nah man der Bedeutung der Gedichte kommen“ könne und „vom Bewunderer zum Bruder eines Dichters werde“. Reiners Interpretation betont die Musikalität in Pasolinis Texten\, die daraus entstehenden Bilder erinnern unweigerlich an die Filme des Regiesseurs Pasolini. Bei Live Präsentationen sind auch Texte zu hören\, die nicht für die CD aufgenommen wurden. Darunter „Marilyn (1962)“\, das als Liedtext entstand und später Verwendung in Pasolinis „La Rabbia / Der Zorn“ (1963) fand\, „Die Vorsehung / La prevedenza (1970)“\, das sich an Maria Callas wendet und „Notizen zu einem Roman über den Müll (1970)“ für den Film „Der Streik der Müllmänner / Appunti per un romanzo sull’immondezza“\, den Pasolini 1970 drehte und dessen Filmmaterial verloren ging.\nChristian Reiner ist Sprecher von Gedichten und Stimme in Musik-\, Theater- und Medienproduktionen. Das Spektrum seiner Arbeit reicht von Aufführungen zeitgenössischer Kompositionen bis hin zu Konzerten improvisierter Musik und interdisziplinären Projekten. Er arbeitet mit improvisierenden Musiker*innen und Tänzer*innen zusammen und entwickelte seine ihm eigene Art und Weise mit gesprochenem Wort und den Möglichkeiten der menschlichen Stimme im musikalischen Kontext zu agieren.Beim Label ECM Records erscheint 2022\, nach seinen Aufnahmen von Friedrich Höderlins „Turmgedichten“ (2012) und Joseph Brodskys „Große Elegie an John Donne“ (2017)\, „Das Land der Arbeit“ mit Gedichten von Pier Paolo Pasolini.\nImprovisation mit gesprochenem Wort\, in der auch die Texte improvisiert sind und im Kontext der Musik entstehen\, zeigt Reiner bei Konzerten mit Ensembles wie Fünf oder Luft und auf Tonträgern mit der Band Weisse Waende\, oder im Duo mit dem Gitarristen Martin Siewert auf der 2023 erschienenen CD „erstens“. Zudem ist er immer wieder als Gast zu verschieden Bands und Projekten eingeladen.\n2021 war Reiner Artist in Residence beim Jazzfestival Saalfelden und zeigte dort fünf Projekte im Zwischenbereich von Sprache und Musik. His research interest is in creative processes. \nDidi Kern is not only known as the precise and versatile drummer of the Austrian bands Bulbul and Fuckhead\, but has also made a name for himself in the improvisation and free jazz scene\, collaborating with greats such as Marshall Allen\, Linda Sharrock\, Ken Vandermark\, and others. He is now considered one of the busiest drummers on the Viennese scene. Didi has established himself as an inventive\, energetic improviser with a keen sense of humor.

DESCRIPTION:DuChampis an Italian scientist\, musician and curator based in Berlin\, religiously devoted to drone.Drone is related to a precise childhood memory: the sound of the hair dryer\, that her mother used to fix her hair. That was the sound of care\, bliss\, and infinite love.She made her debut as solo on Aug 22 2010\, and performed several time across Europe and in the US West Coast.Since 2017\, DuChamp started to incorporate real field recordings\, related to her personal memory\, into her drone compositions\, by adding layers of sounds and noise in attempt to recreate some kind of apophonias.Her debut album “NAR” has been released in 2013 through the italian cult label Boring Machines. In 2015 the split “Sculpture” with French sound artist Felicia Atkinson was released through Idiosyncratics. In 2016 and 2017 Full Body Massage records released that tapes “Nectere” and the following year “A Blazing World”. Her new album “The Wild Joy” will be released in 2025 by Torto Edition\, Ramble Records and Atena Records.———-\nVeronika Mayer composes contemporary experimental music in the context of free improvisation as electronic musician with the laptop. She is dedicated to the effects of minimal sound changes and demands openness for subtle details. Veronika is on the curatorial team of the Klangmanifeste festival and a member of snim – spontaneous network for improvised music. His sonic vision cultivates a sensitivity to the unveiling of the heart\, in sound and in practice. Each day\, he listens to the space behind the eyes\, behind the gut\, behind the pelvis\, behind the heart. His music is an offering to the space of inspiration that thrums within us all.For his offering\, Mlondiwethu will be sourcing inspiration from the movements of Word\, Rhythm and Spirit; to create a performative and sonic encounter titled in the voices of many. Attentively listening to the enthusiasm and refuge that each vibration\, note\, and sound carries and offers\, in the voices of many\, is an improvisation toward an amplification of the subtle\, unseen\, and often-unspoken energies that thrum within us.

His research interest is in creative processes.\nDidi Kern: drums (Schlagzeug)\nAmerican multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Zucker (piano\, synth\, voice) and Hungarian drummer Attila Gyárfás have been making music since they met in 2017 in New York. Living in separate continents\, Zucker and Gyárfás have developed the unique synergy of their wide-ranging and ambitious duo project playing in short spans of a week or two at a time on the road in diverse venues — from candle-lit jazz clubs in Edinburgh and Istanbul to an electronic music venue built out of repurposed car speakers in Timişoara; from an art gallery in London to a sculpture park outside of Cluj-Napoca. Performing sometimes with a grand piano and a high-fi sound system\, but sometimes with a skeletal drum kit\, a synthesizer\, and a single speaker\, the duo is at home within a remarkable range of sounds: passages of complex contrapuntal chamber music are followed by noisy improvised soundscapes punctuated by Gyárfás’s gong synthesizer\, and followed again by Zucker’s plaintive lullabies.
