DESCRIPTION:GRŪ___ & JD ZAZIE\noperate at the intersection of experimental sound\, performance\, and real-time manipulation. Their duo combines object-based sonic research with radical approaches to recorded media\, creating performances that unfold between composition\, improvisation\, and technological systems. Working under the alias Grū___\, Grgur Savić explores sound as a physical\, transformable material through performance\, composition\, and visual–sonic systems. By deconstructing objects\, most notably the saxophone\, and employing MAX/MSP-based processes\, his practice investigates resonance\, vibration\, and human–machine co-creation in real time. Coming from a DJ and radiophonic background\, JD ZAZIE develops live performances through the real-time manipulation of fixed recorded sound\, redefining DJing and electroacoustic practice toward free improvisation and composed forms.
