DESCRIPTION:Frank and Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu at Taborkirche – Kreuzberg. \nZeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu performs with cello\, electronic processes\, sound recording\, and voice\, moving between free improvisation and composition. Background is rooted in Istanbul: Turkish Makam music\, Eurogenetic classical music\, experimental\, and sonic practices. Music switches between musical genres\, creating through gestural and embodied movements of textural acoustic and electroacoustic sounds. \nAside from performing-composing practices\, interested in the social dynamics of musical acts as a creative\, interpretative way of synchronization\, exploring ‚oneness with others‘ and fostering small-scale supportive communities. Holds a PhD from Istanbul ITU MIAM on improvisational playful thinking as a tool for supporting creative communities. Lives and works in Berlin since 2023.

DESCRIPTION:Trio Kvadrata Supro was formed in 2021 as an improvisational group based on double wind instruments – mainly saxophones and clarinets – and a rhythmic system made up of drums and vibraphone. The fabric of their music unfolds in the polarity between trance-eruptive free jazz with various folkloric atavisms and free improvisation with elements of minimalism and ambient.
