TÉRIDŐ JAM is an instant compositional structure led by Rubik Ernő Zoltán. In the first half of the evening, a core group of dancers and musicians invited by TËRÏDÖ and JazzaJ performs, while in the second half, anyone from the audience can join in.
Collective free improvisation is a dangerous genre: the performers cannot escape from their own story, while the decisions of their fellow artists throw them into unexpected situations. It helps the imagination to soar if total freedom is created within predefined boundaries. This apparent paradox is enforced during the evening by drawing the participants and the duration of each program from a hat. After this, it only depends on the newly formed ensemble what space-time compositions they surprise us with – and themselves.
Admission: 3000.- Supporters: 4000.-

SPACE_TIME JAM is an instant composition night led by Ernő Zoltán Rubik. In the first half, TËRÏDÖ and JazzaJ will present a special act of dancers and musicians – but in the second half, everyone will be invited to join!
Collective free improvisation is a dangerous proposition: the performers must not abandon their own stories while their partners keep exposing them to unexpected situations. It only helps the soaring fantasy if total freedom is evoked among pre-defined boundaries. We will let this seemingly paradoxical state dominate our night by drawing the participants and the length of each act from a hat. But after the draw it is only up to the newly-formed groups what space_time compositions they create to surprise us – and themselves.
