I have been a dancer for a while and I call myself a free dancer. I started collaborating with Udo Preis in 2019 by organizing Free Forms evenings in Trieste. I felt the importance of waxing spaces and places where the arts could communicate and where artists could meet.

Being part of Free Forms is like creating a spatiotemporal bubble of creative well-being where presence and listening are the engine for a journey where anything is possible. Opening myself through dance to this possibility has allowed me to refine the tools I have accumulated over years of work playing, improving the quality of movement and at the same time discovering a more authentic me. Meeting and creating together brings in itself the beauty of being real, essential, self-centered, light and out of one’s box. Seeing listening to challenge oneself is the nourishment that enables these kinds of encounters. It sounds revolutionary, but if I were to think of a new art I think of it as well as Free Forms a place where collaboration reigns and we are all willing to learn even from ourselves.

Dance in this space is no longer at the service of music, we are on the same plane, movement becomes an instrument in the orchestra.

Ich tanze schon länger und bezeichne mich selbst als freie Tänzerin. 2019 begann ich mit Udo Preis zusammenzuarbeiten und organisierte Free Forms-Abende in Triest. Mir war wichtig, Räume und Orte zu schaffen, an denen die Künste kommunizieren und Künstler sich begegnen können.

Teil von Free Forms zu sein, ist wie eine raumzeitliche Blase kreativen Wohlbefindens zu schaffen, in der Präsenz und Zuhören der Motor einer Reise sind, auf der alles möglich ist. Mich durch den Tanz dieser Möglichkeit zu öffnen, hat es mir ermöglicht, die Werkzeuge, die ich mir über Jahre hinweg angeeignet habe, zu verfeinern, die Qualität der Bewegungen zu verbessern und gleichzeitig ein authentischeres Ich zu entdecken. Sich zu treffen und gemeinsam zu kreieren, birgt die Schönheit in sich, authentisch, essentiell, selbstbezogen, leicht und unkonventionell zu sein. Sehen, Zuhören und sich selbst herauszufordern, ist die Nahrung, die solche Begegnungen ermöglicht. Es klingt revolutionär, aber wenn ich an eine neue Kunst denke, denke ich an sie und Free Forms – einen Ort, an dem Zusammenarbeit herrscht und wir alle bereit sind, auch von uns selbst zu lernen.

Der Tanz steht in diesem Raum nicht mehr im Dienste der Musik, wir befinden uns auf derselben Ebene, die Bewegung wird zu einem Instrument im Orchester.
