Four 3-hour workshops
When: 20. 9., 18. 10., 15. 11. and 13. 12. 2025 (Saturday morning)
Where: Radnická 8, Brno, 3rd floor, dance hall
We invite you to 4 three-hour workshops.
At each workshop, we will focus on an individual principle of contact improvisation. We will delve as deeply as possible so that in practice we can lean not only on the body of another, but mainly on our own and feel, perceive and let our spontaneous, free flow of movement flow.
The workshop will always include:
– individual somatic work (focused on perceiving your body and experiencing deeper principles)
– floorwork (working with the ground)
– work on individual principles of contact improvisation
– awareness of the principles for entering jams
– free jam, where there will be an opportunity to try everything out in practice.
Each workshop will be facilitated by two lecturers (Kateřina Hanzlíková and Michaela Ondrašinová), so individual care will be ensured 🙂
The workshops will be designed so that both those who are just starting out with contact improvisation and experienced dancers can get the most out of them. The individual workshops will follow each other, so we recommend taking all of the workshops. By appointment, it is also possible to visit individual lessons.
The workshop cycle will be open only if the minimum capacity is met, which is 6 participants.
The lessons are held under the auspices of the corpo mira, z.s. association
In individual workshops we will cover, for example, the following topics:
types of touch (skin, muscles, bones), relationship with the ground and softness of movement on the ground, space and finding balance (perception of your space vs. your partner’s space, directions in space), pressure and pull (fascia, leading and following in contact), levels of movement (several levels of movement: ground, center, flight; glide, spirals, rolling) and many others according to the needs of the group.

Payment:
Sliding price, i.e. 2600-3100 CZK for the entire cycle (please choose the price according to your possibilities).
When visiting individual workshops: 750 CZK/lesson.

Register no later than 12. 9. 2025 by sending an e-mail to: misharel@seznam.cz. Please send payment no later than 13. 9. (we will send you payment details after registration, your place will be reserved only after payment is received).
In case of financial difficulties, it is possible to agree on installments or another individual solution. If the only thing preventing you from participating in the lessons is the price, please contact us, we will try to find a solution.
